About the owner and the start of our multi faceted conglomerate,,
Jewelz as her friends call her, has been in the health care field for 28 years but always felt
like something was missing. As much as she loves being a psychiatric RN and helping
people she knew there had to be more. In 2002 when she moved to West Palm Beach
Florida, she discovered that the "thing" that was missing was working with the Mind,
Body and Soul Together.
In nursing school she was taught how to work with her clients from a holistic
standpoint, understanding that humans are physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual
beings, taking into consideration each aspect of their world to develop an individualized
care plan to meet their needs. Everyone knows working strictly with "western" medicine
nurses end up dealing with the physical or body of the client 98% (ninety-eight percent)
of the time, that coupled with the over abundance of paperwork, leaves very little time
for consideration of the mind or the soul. Determined to provide a more holistic
approach for her clients she began searching for a modality to combine alternative
healing with modern medicine.
She met a Certified Reiki Master/ Instructor through a mutual friend, and began learning
Reiki, an ancient Japanese healing art that boosts the immune system, speeds healing
after illness, injury or surgery, allows for greater focus and stability and reduces stress.
Jewelz began healing her own mind, body and soul and by the time she became a
certified Reiki Master/ Instructor she was able to open up her ability to work with her
other talents. With Dawn, her guru at her side she began to understand the other gifts
she had always know were there but never quite understood. She began working as a
Clairvoyant Clairaudient coupled with Reiki and her solid foundation in psychiatric
nursing she was finally able to help her clients heal physically, emotionally and spiritually.
In order to follow a more spiritual path and to help with the holistic counseling she does
she became an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, a non-denominational
organization that celebrates love and the energy that surrounds us all.
Immediately following her new enlightenment, Imagine Your Soul, LLC was founded in
2004, as an educational "bridge" for the community,with the philosophy that the key to
having a happy, healthy, peaceful and fulfilling life is learning to heal your
mind, body and soul so they can work together as one harmonious instrument.
Jewelz is a classically trained pianist as well as the author of the book "Too Much Caffeine
and a Razor" copyright 2004. She has a daughter LeeAnne who is a Reiki Master and
works with her and she lives with her dog, Missy, cat, the Littlest Puss and a duck
named Murray in Connecticut.
