The Animal Reiki
Clinic held at the
Southbury Dog
Park had a
wonderful turn
out and made
money for a great
cause, EVERYONE
had a blast
The tent sort of gave us problems but with 5 of us working diligently on it we managed to get it up in
practically 20 minutes
Dawn from Animals For Life
watches her dog Annie who was
so busy being the official greeter
of the Dog Park  I couldn't get a
picture of her
We had a constant stream of traffic flowing through
So much room to run and be free and
theres a place to swim too, we got
quite a few big wet dogs that came
through
There is always someone to play
with talk to and sniff at the Dog
Park
Judy Alt (left),  carryiing Princess Pandora, Carol McIlRavy (right front) and
Jeremy Alt ( background)  of Compassionate Hands Holistic Center of

Heidi Vollmer from Connecticut
Hypnosis of Southbury and LeeAnne
Kmetetz from Imagine Your Soul, of
Woodbury wait patiently for the dogs to
finish playing
Our first customer and  this ones mom
helped with the tent
LuAnne from Animals For Life is also a
Reiki Practitioner and pitched in to help
When we first arrived it was sort of cold out but as the day moved forward
it got warmer and warmer until Judy did a strip tease
Judy  does reiki on a dog everyone
said didn't like to be held, funny she
held him for almost 15 minutes
without an issue
LeeAnne  does reiki on somebodys
mommy
This french bulldog got out of
his wheelchair to be handed  to
Heidi Vollmer for some great
healing energy
These 2 argued over who was going to
go first, ( no teeth were used in the
argument just playful licks, and they
played for almost an hour and a half
until  both of them needed a rest and
they collapsed together, the only thing
moving was their tails )
Princess Pandora or Dora as she
allows certain people to call her
makes Jeremy her dad carry her
around in a papoose and if she does
not wish to entertain you as an
audience she hides
All good things must come to
an  end.  This lab puppy was
waving good bye
